    Drive from Gangtok / Kalimpong / Darjeeling to the border town of Phuntsogling – (5 to 7 hrs depending on where the travel will be from). Complete entry formalities
  • Day 2
    Leave early morning for Thimphu ( 5 hrs) . Afternoon Sightseeing of Thimphu. Visit Memorial chorten, Painting School, Textile museum, Bhutanese paper factory. O/N hotel
  • Day 3
    Drive to Punakha (2 ½ hrs) A wonderful and scenic drive . Enroute you visit Dochulachorten and WandiDzong( fort). After lunch visit the famous PunakhaDzong located in a beautiful spot at the confluence of the Mo chu and Po Chu rivers. O/N Punakha
  • Day 4
    Drive to Paro arriving by lunch. Afternoon visit Drukyal Dzong, Kichu Lakhang, Paro Museum
  • Day 5
    A visit to Bhutan is incomplete if Taktsang( Tiger’s Nest )monastery is not visited. We drive to the end of the roadhead and then cross the bridge and walk along awell defined path to the village . As you climb gradually the lush green Paro valley can be seen below. The climb then gets steep as you finally get a see the monastery clinging to the cliffside. The climb of about 2 ½ to 3 hrs in all is rewarded when you enter the monastery. Legend says that GuruPadmasambhava who brought buddhism here came flying on a tigress and hence its name “Taktsang“ or Tiger’s Nest. Later visit a typical Bhutanese farm house to get an insight into a traditional home and lifestyle
