At an altitude of 4350m, the magical Pangong lake is perhaps one of the most photographed and visited place in Ladakh and has featured in several advertisements. The frequency of visitors to this lake increased further after the movie – “ 3 Idiots” .  This massive lake is 134 km in length and 1/3 of the lake lies in India while the rest in China.   The colors of the lake along the shores take on different hues with the changing light and the deep azure blue of the lake with the stark mountains in the back will keep on mesmerized.
