Starting from the scenically located  city of Pokhara, this trek to the Annapurna Base camp takes you through amazingly different landscapes – lush green fields pretty villages dotted on the terraced hillsides, through thick rhododendron forests with continuous amazing views of the mighty 7000 and 8000m all along .It does not stop here but gets better when you  reach Machapuchare and Annapurna Base Camp where a himalayan  feast awaits as the base camps are  set spectacularly amidst the majestic peaks of Annapurna I( 8091m), Annapurna South( 7219m), Machapuchhare ( 6993m) and Hiunchuli( 6441m) – Definitely a trek that must be done.
