A couple of days is spent in and around Leh during which we visit some of Ladakh’s ancient monasteries. This trek goes across high mountain pastures with spectacular panoramic views of the Stok range of mountains. This trek ends in the lovely village of Stok where the present royalty of Ladakh live. Optional visit to the Stok Palace Museum which houses some rare and beautiful thangkas dating back to the 9th century and artifacts and objects of ancient days.
