This is a one day tour to Agra that starts from Delhi to visit the monument of love – The Taj Mahal! It is one of the seven modern wonders of the world. This beautiful mausoleum in pure white marble took 22 years and 22,000 craftsmen to build it. It is the most famous Mogul monument and the most extravagant ever built for love by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, the lady of the Taj.

    Transfer from your hotel to the railway station for express train to Agra departing at 06:00hrs. Arrive in Agra at 08:30hrs. Visit Taj Mahal. We then visit the Agra Fort built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 offering fantastic views of the Taj. Agra Fort was principally a military structure. There are many fascinating buildings inside the massive 20 –meters thick walls which stretch for 2 and half kms.

    Late afternoon drive back to Delhi – 3 hrs via the expressway – drop off at the Delhi airport or your hotel – end of services (You can connect to international flights same evening departing late night / midnight).
