Stok Kangri ( 6137m) extension

Following a wonderful circular route we climb Stok Kangri, perhaps one of the most popular trekking peaks . At a height of 6137m, the climb up Stok Kangri is a very straight forward climbing involving use of crampons ( depending on snow conditions)and minimum technical skills. At the summit you are rewarded with wonderful panoramic views of the karakorams – a great chance to be standing at 6000m+.

    Drive from Leh for about an hour to road head and start trek. O/N camp at Matho phu

    Trek to Yarlas O/N Camp

    Descend to the village of Stok and drive to Leh – end of services
