Only an hour from Delhi, we take the most spectacular mountain flight to Leh, the main town of Leh and once its capital. You feel the high rarified air immediately as you land at 3500m above sea level. We will spend some days acclimatising during which we will undertake several day trips biking trips visiting monasteries, villages, rafting and in this period getting used to the challenges of riding at high altitude. We will be following a new and exciting road across the Warila pass (5578m)passing through the beautiful Sakti valley. You descend to Tangyar and Khyungru( famous for snow leopard sightings ) and continue to Khalsar where you meet the old Silk route into the Nubra Valley biking through the expansive valley bottom. The biking is mostly downhill and across the valley bottom with some gentle uphill slopes besides the challenging climb up Warila pass and finally up to Khardungla pass at 5596m from where you do the exhilarating downhill ride to Leh.
