Kang Yatse, also spelled Kangyatse, is a prominent mountain peak located in the Markha Valley of Ladakh, India, within the Hemis National Park. It is a popular destination for trekkers and mountaineers due to its stunning beauty and challenging climbs. The peak has two main summits: Kang Yatse I (6,400 meters) and Kang Yatse II (6,250 meters). Kang Yatse II is more frequently climbed as it is considered a trekking peak, requiring no advanced mountaineering skills, though it does involve glacier travel and steep ascents. Kang Yatse I, on the other hand, is a technical climb and demands experience in high-altitude mountaineering.
