The past biking days prepares for our challenging rides to Khardungla, one of the highest motorable pass at 5370m. These trips are the ultimate preparatory rides before we begin our 473km bike trip to Manali – considered one of the most classic bike trips. We ride up steep roads crossing a series of high passes including the 2nd highest pass – Taglangla at 5280m , racing across the Moore plains ( part of the Tibetan Changtang plateau) and down hill on switch back roads. All along you pass through the most awesome landscape of high cliffs and rocky faces , the colors of which change with the light.
